BharatPe hires 3 top executives to strengthen the structure of the company. Amid all the legal battles the company is going through, BharatPe has moved forward with three new major appointments. It includes CISO, Head of Internal Audit, Head of Compliance, etc.
Certainly, this appointment will act as a catalyst. The firm has given top priority to data privacy and cybersecurity. Evidently, the company plans to strengthen its boundaries as it is focusing on IPO.
BharatPe hired Ambuj Bhalla as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This appointment is amid the legal battle with Arshneer Grover in the Delhi High Court. Along with CISO, BharatPe brings in Rahul Bhatia as the Head of Internal Audit. Furthermore, the company also appointed Ravinder Oberoi as Head of Compliance.
BharatPe Hires the following for experience
The above-mentioned three top figures are highly experienced in many important fields. Ambuj Bhalla has more than 20 years of experience working with many top companies. He has built his career with a sheer focus on Information security and data privacy. Additionally, Ambuj Bhalla has worked with IndiGoAirlines, Bharati Airtel, and ReBIT.
Moving forward, Mr. Rahul Bhatia who will now work as the Head of Internal Audit has 17 years of experience. His areas of expertise include; the Domain of Governance, Risk, and Compliance in the financial sector.
Furthermore, Mr. Ravinder Oberoi who has been appointed as Head of Compliance is a top industry leader. He has 23 years of experience working with many banking and insurance companies.
Set up in 2018, BharatPe is a top fintech firm that serves more than 1 crore merchants across 400 cities. Currently, BharatPe leads in the UPI market. It has humongous figures of 18 crores of UPI transactions per month. Apart from this, the firm has provided loan services. BharatPe has disbursed loans of approximately INR 8500 Crores to more than 450000 merchants.
Besides, the company has been authorized by the RBI to operate as an online Payment Aggregator (PA).
Currently, the firm faces a legal clash with Arshneer Grover( former Co-founder) in the Delhi High Court.
