Reliance Jio has rolled out 5G Services. It is the biggest trial phase up to date and it was planned across all 33 district headquarters of Gujarat.
Telecom major Jio said in its statement that Gujarat has become the first state in India to get 100 percent True 5G network coverage in its district headquarters. The company has officially announced that Gujarat holds a special place, as it is Reliance’s Janmabhoomi.
Reliance Foundation Programmes
Jio and Reliance Foundation together launched a True 5G service in Gujarat named Education-for-All, with this the company plans to digitize 100 schools in Gujarat.
Ambani said that the Reliance Foundation runs a program called Education and Sports for All [EAS]. This program empowers youth with Quality Education and opportunities in sports.
As a model state, not only in Education, Jio True 5G is also an initiative for Agriculture, Industry 4.0, the healthcare sector and IoT sectors in Gujarat. Further, it plans to extend throughout the country.
Jio 5G Data Plans
True 5G network is currently available in 46 cities/towns of the nation. As planned earlier now True 5G with unlimited 5G data at break-neck speeds ranging between 500Mbps to 1gbps is now available in Pune.
Punekars have been invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience unlimited data, at no additional cost. It will be a True game-changer in Pune.
Delhi-NCR region, including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and many other major locations got the True 5G services from Jio. The users in these cities can start using 5G services on their 5G smartphones.
To avail of the free Jio 5G Welcome Offer, the users don’t have to buy a separate SIM. But the users should have a Jio 5G network-enabled smart device. Jio sends an invite to its users who use an active plan of Rs 239 or above in prepaid and postpaid.
