Edtech startup, Classmonitor secures INR 10 Cr funds in a Pre-Series A round backed by Frontline strategy funds as the lead investor. The funding round also saw participation from Khimji Family. Along with lead investor, existing investors like Sarvann & Calega Family office also participated in this funding round.
The funds will be used for the growth and expansion of the company. Additionally, the startup plans to use these fresh funds to enhance the learning opportunities for children by using AI-based technology.
The Indore-based startup aims to establish its dominance in the early education sector by intoducing franchised learning facilities.
Furthermore, Classmonitor also looks forward to expanding its arena by including offline stores and schools.
Startup’s Background and its Vision
Classmonitor is a homeschooling platform launched in 2016 by Vijeet Pandey and Vikas Rishiswar. Initially, the startup operated as a messaging platform for parents and teachers. Later on, it transformed into a hybrid early-learning platform that provides learning kits for 0-8 years old children.
The kits are highly beneficial for children as it engages the child into innovative learning. Classmonitor provides well-researched and highly engaging kits which nurture the early education of children. Along with this, the kits also focus on self-help learning and strengthening parents child bonding.
This Edtech startup has successfully increased its user base by doubling its users in the last six months. The startup also looks forward to being the first choice in the early education sector by 2023. The startup recently launched its YouTube channel with the aim of expansion.
