The online portal for the teenagers to generate income from freelancing projects the Funngro has announced that it has gathered funds in a seed funding round on Friday, 3rd March 2023.
About the Company Funngro’s fundraiser
The investment for the company Funngro in the pre-seeding funding round was made by the two judges from the Shark Tank Season 2, the founder the Emcure Pharmaceutical’s Chief Executive officer Namita Thapar and the Founder of the online automotive solutions proving platform Car Dekho’s Founder Amit Jain.
Besides, the pre-seed funding round also witnessed the participation of the Hyderabad based investment company SucSeed Indovation Fund. However, the details regarding the amount has been not disclosed.
The company wishes to utilise the freshly raised capital to develop new products to recruit more teen freelancers and also to intensify its marketing activities.
With respect to the fund gathered from the pre-seed funding round the founder of the company Funngro said in her statement that the company aims to make sure that every teenager is able discover their passion and turn it into their source of income.
She also added saying that the Funngro has to have a support of some powerful sources or the platform like the Shark tank in order to create awareness among the target audience the teenagers, to make them aware of the career opportunities and help them to learn a bunch of skills like the entrepreneurial skills, business skills, financial literacy and also critical thinking skills.

The online platform for the teenagers to earn money from the freelancing projects Funngro was established in the year 2021 by the Co-Founders Payal Jain and Anik Jain. The headquarters of the company is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The company has been incubated at the Afthonia Lab, the Country’sfirst ever Fintech lab. The company has strong network of 4 lakh teen influencers since its establishment also, the company has worked on over 1000 projects.
