Fintech startup, Money View bags $75 million ( About Rs. 621 crores) in a series E funding round backed by UK-based Apis Partners. Along with Apis Partners, the round also saw participation from Tiger Global, Winter Capital and Evolvence.
Money View bags $75 million from the above-mentioned investors at a valuation of $900M. This marks its entrance into the Soonicorn club. Earlier this year, Money View raised $75 million from Tiger Global and other investors at a valuation of $625M in a series D funding round.
Soonicorn means those startups which have the potential to enter the Unicorn club. Its means those startups which are soon going to be Unicorns. Currently, India is the world’s fastest growing startup ecosystem. There are 108 Unicorn startups in India as of 2022.
Co-founder and CEO, Puneet Agarwal said that the company’s growth and excellent performance in the last two years have driven its mission of true financial inclusion in India with great success.
Money View bags funds for its growth
This Bengaluru-based Fintech startup plans to utilize the fresh funds to scale its credit operations. Additionally, the firm also intends to use the capital to increase product offerings in its portfolio like digital bank accounts, insurance and wealth management services. Hiring will also be one of the key areas where the funds will be used.
Company’s Background
Money View was launched in 2014 by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal. It is a personal finance management platform that offers various kinds of credit products such as instant personal loans, BNPL and cards. The app allows users to track their expenses, manage bills and record expenses. Overall, Money View is a finance management platform.
It uses its AI-powered models to predict financial risk more precisely than other traditional models. With the help of this, the firm provides beneficial solutions to consumers.
This lending tech startup has partnered with over more than 15 financial institutions to offer these products.
