Vetic a digital startup focusing on pet health care raised $3.7 million in a seed funding round led by angel investor Lachy Groom.
Aims of Vetic
The main intentions are to provide pets with the best medical care and to convenience, the pet parents regarding all other pet care need like nutrition, wellness, etc.
The Pet care company has four clinics in Gurgaon. Now with new capital, it plans to start 15 clinics across Delhi NCR and Bangalore regions by June 2023. The present pet healthcare ecosystem has a subpar clinical and medical infrastructure with minimal technology adoption.
In India, pet adoption is increasing at a fast rate. But the biggest challenge for pet parents remains pet healthcare.
Gaurav Ajmera [EX-COO OYO and EX-CBO Pristyn Care] said that funds raised will be used for bolstering technology, establishing state-of-the-art medical infrastructure as well as the geographical expansion of vetic’s clinic network across Delhi NCR and Bangalore regions.
The Company pledged that every pet will have access to the best medical care. It aims to deliver tech-enabled modern pet clinics with well-equipped, latest medical infrastructure and experienced veterinary doctors.
Android and iOS mobile App launched by vetic, which enables pet health record keeping and appointment booking this was the first app in time for the pet healthcare sector.
